Program Kenya budget camping safari:

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve
Depart Nairobi and drive Northwards to Samburu Game Reserve via Mt. Kenya and Past Coffee plantations. Picnic lunch and game drive enroute viewing the unusual reticulated giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Gerenuk and the Somali Ostrich, all of which are rare in other game parks.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve
Full day of game viewing in the park famous as the place for the Samburu semi-nomadic tribesmen, the reticulated giraffe, the Grevy's zebra gerenuk, beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve - Lake Nakuru
Morning drive south towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch at Nakuru before proceeding for an afternoon game drive in the Park. This is a shallow soda lake which inhabits more than a million flamingos. The Lake Nakuru National Park also has a Rhino sanctuary. Other animals to be seen here are lion, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog and hippo. Dinner and overnight at a camp at the Park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast we leave for Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the game reserve which is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve.

Day 5 & 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve
Full day at the Mara with a with a game drive from
Sunrise and sundowner greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains, a time where the soft red hues of the sun will give your photographs the clarity of the actual African savannah. Morning game viewing with a long drive to the Mara River where you will be able to view Hippos and Crocodiles. After lunch at the camp/lodge, take an afternoon drive in the Maasai Hills with optional activities for a dawn nature walk safari to experience the awakening of Africa in Maasai land. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
Return to Nairobi arriving around noon.
