Nairobi: the city in the sun!!!

Honeymoon program:

Day 1: Nairobi arrival
You will be picked up at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport by our staff with a bouquet of flowers to the spectacular Safari Park Hotel where you spend the night on a bed and breakfast basis. Depending on the time your flight arrives the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast depart from Nairobi for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Game drive en-route to the lodge, lunch is served on arrival, followed by an afternoon game drive through the reserve to this endless reaches of acacia-dotted grasslands studded with hazy hills where pride of lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras and numerous plain animals are in abundance.
Return for dinner at Keekorok lodge and relax in comfort.
Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge Meals included all meals.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Morning game viewing with a long drive to the Mara river where you will be able to view Hippos and Crocodiles. After lunch at the lodge, an afternoon game drive will follow with a visit to a Maasai Manyatta (homestead) to see Maasai culture. Evening nature walk safari with a resident naturalist to experience the awakening of Africa in Maasai land at sunset. Accommodation: Keekorok Lodge. All meals are concluded.

Day 4: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast you’ll be driven to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake and home to the Greater and Lesser Flamingos. At times you may see a lion crawling on the waters edge or if you are a bird lover you will spot different bird species.

After a day's game watching chill out at two of the bars overlooking the Lake. At their excellent cuisine you will enjoy and you will love the sundowners. You will be treated to some entertainment retiring to bed in this spectacular lodge in the wild.
Accommodation: Lake Nakuru Lodge which is situated inside the park including all meals.

Day 5: Nakuru - Amboseli National Park
We depart early in the morning towards Amboseli stopping off for lunch and game viewing on the way. we will overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge on a full board basis. Amboseli is famous for its unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro and a relaxed abundant population of elephants as well as prolific bird life.

The lodge is located on the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro on an environment with Acacia trees and a natural spring lays. The lodge offers an East Africa legendary due to excellent bird viewing areas While overlooking the saltlick and the floodlit waterhole encountering interesting game sights.
Dinner can be enjoyed in the open-air dining room with a selection from international menus and buffets Swimming pool offers relaxation after a game drive. Guest rooms are decorated with African art and murals painted by a local African artist. Enjoy the comforts in this eautiful setting as well as the activities and facilities that are offered such as Maasai performances and guided nature walks.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park
After breakfast we depart for a full day game drive where the Mount Kilimanjaro background offers a good photographic scenery coupled with animals on the ground.

Day 7: Amboseli - Mombasa
After breakfast we depart for Mombasa, where we overnight at Whitesands sea hotel including all meals.

Day 8: Mombasa
After breakfast at the White Sands hotel you can take a Mombassa city excursion which will take you 5 hours. Here you will see the Old Mombassa town, fort Jesus, woodcarvers and culture for good shopping. Return back to the hotel in time for lunch. Afternoon will be at leisure sunbathing and swimming at the warm Indian Ocean waters. Dinner and overnight at the white sands.

Day 9: Mombasa
After breakfast you will spend the morning at the Wasini Island dhow sailing ship. You will be driven to Shimoni for the dhow excursion with snorkelling in the Marine Park with lunch. After lunch you will be transferred to the Tamarid dhow where you will sail down; the creek with seafood, dance cruise which is very ideal for honeymooners. You will return back to the White Sands hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Full Day Malindi or Watamu
After early breakfast depart your Hotel for Malindi or Watamu. Returning back in the evening dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Mombasa - Nairobi
You will take a local flight to Nairobi after a long safari by road to spend a night at the Pan Afric Hotel for dinner and overnight or, if your flight is in time with your flight back home you can just
get your flight home if you want to. If you opt to get to Nairobi by train then it is the most scenic way to travel with beautiful Kenya landscape, food, bed and breakfast on train.
